French school protesters threaten to burn down Elysee Palace

"A French protester was arrested on Friday after he threatened to burn down the Élysée Palace in Paris, as high school demonstrations across the country escalated.

Angry young people marched in the streets, set bins and school entrances on fire, and clashed with riot police in violent scuffles.
They did so in defiance of Emmanuel Macron, whose government has battled to contain increasingly violent protests over classroom conditions and funding.
By early afternoon, the education ministry reported protests impacting 560 schools.
