"A strong magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit 18.5 km (12 mi) away from Corredor, Provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica, late in the evening at 10.47 pm local time (America/Costa_Rica GMT -6). The depth of the quake could not be determined, but is assumed to be shallow. The quake was not felt (or at least not reported so)." VD
